159th Open Exhibition - Entry Temporarily Paused

We have decided to temporarily pause submissions until mid-May. Currently the exhibition is still going ahead but we are monitoring the situation continually. Our show relies on Artists getting work to the Mall Galleries in July and of course we will be led by the Mall Galleries as to whether this is achievable and not risking artists or their staff’s health. We are constantly reviewing the situation and would like to reassure you that you will not lose monies already paid if the exhibition is cancelled.

Attention Artists - Beware of Scams

The featured listings above this note all use the OESS to manage your artwork entries, therefore we are pretty sure they are legitimate calls. Many will charge entry fees to cover administration and exhibition costs so we recommend you consider their offerings very carefully before deciding if they are worthwile for you.

Curators and Exhibition Organisers - Please Note:
Due to the rise in the number of scams and profit making schemes targeting artists, from 1st December 2019 we will no longer accept listings from organisations who do not use the OESS submission system.
